We've finally ready to begin rebuilding the last portion of the Wexler Way Boardwalk and during construction the boardwalk and Haselton Trail will be closed starting Wednesday, May 17 at 5 PM. The closure is to ensure the safety of our visitors and expedite the destruction and construction of the boardwalk. If on time construction should be completed in approximately 6 weeks but may take longer due to weather conditions or supply issues. Be patient as we work to improve our aging boardwalk.
All other trails will remain open except for the Haselton Trail. Buildings and Picnic Shelter are also open for your use. This is a time to explore the other trails at TLNC. Funding to renovate the boardwalk are possible due to grants from Disney, SECO Energy Foundation, Larry L. and Michelle M. Murphy Charitable Trust and Lake County Water Authority for a total of $157,000. We are grateful for their support.
