 ators. Lake County teachers will receive a $70 stipend/day from a grant pr
 ovided by the Larry L. and Michelle M. Murphy Trust. You must commit to at
 tending all 4 days of the workshop. If for some reason you are unable to a
 ttend\, notify the TLNC office (352-357-7536) so educators on the waiting 
 list can be notified to attend. \n\n* To become truly effective with STEM\
 , educators need to build their skills. Participants will be given an oppo
 rtunity to:\n* Acquire and then use STEM content skills while at the same 
 time providing a real world application of science.\n* Develop an understa
 nding of the complexity of sustainability issues by comparing and  contras
 ting vastly different ecosystems.\n* Produce a lesson plan to deliver acti
 ve\, interdisciplinary\, and enriching educational experiences for their s
 tudents using the outdoors as a key resource.\n* Identify\, select\, and a
 ddress appropriate Florida Curriculum Standards in STEM outdoor activity p
 lanning.\n
