Event Calendar

Hundreds of years ago, the chiefs of different tribes of American Indians would tell fantastic stories around campfires about the stars, constellations, and the origins of the Earth. Mike Ryan will present a PowerPoint presentation retelling many of these different tales.

Mike Ryan is a retired Planetarium Director for Lake County Schools. After spending 42 years teaching in Florida, he has developed more than 30 astronomy-related activities for teachers to use worldwide. He has been a resident of Lake County since 1971.
