The Trout Lake Nature Center depends on the generosity of its donors to keep its gate open and continue with its mission to educate people about our environment. Florida, the United States and the world are facing many environmental challenges that require people to understand how systems work, their impact on these natural systems and how they can help to make the world a better place.

In the past eight years, the Trout Lake Nature Center has reached almost half a million people with its education programs. We see parents, and even some grandparents, who first visited our Center in their childhood returning with their children and grandchildren to learn about the natural world and connect with nature. Through your support, we have grown from a small idea into a vibrant and continually improving nature center in Lake County serving the Central Florida region.
