Hours of Operation

The Trout Lake Nature Center property, buildings and trails are open:

• Tuesday through Saturday from 9 AM to 4 PM
• Sunday from 1 PM to 4 PM
• Property closes at 4 PM

Although not open to the public on Mondays, staff and volunteers are usually on-site to perform maintenance, develop new programming, care for education animals and do other necessary activities to keep programs and facilities operating at full capacity.

Our trails are not wheel chair accessible but we provide a tracked chair that can be used by physically challenged visitors. This chair will allow visitors to access most trails except for portions with narrow foot bridges. Use of the EcoRover chair is on a first come-first serve basis unless you call ahead to make a reservation.

Special programs conducted by the Trout Lake Nature Center and other organizations may take place outside normal operating hours throughout the year.

We are closed for the following holidays to let our staff and volunteers enjoy the holiday with their family and friends.
