Bird watching is an up and coming outdoor activity than anyone can participate in and many are puzzled about how they can begin. Some birds are hard to see and don’t sit still to be identified but you can often hear their calls and songs.
Greg Drawbaugh, PEAR Park volunteer and photographer has been helping identify birds through their calls for many years. He is the featured speaker at the Trout Lake Nature Center’s (TLNC) Friday Night Naturalist series on April 21 starting at 6:30 PM. Although he declares he is not a birder, Drawbaugh will tell how he helps identify birds by their sounds along with letting us see his many unique bird photos.
Whether you’re a birder or photographer, you will want to hear about his adventures as a photographer and birding assistant. The Trout Lake Nature Center is located at 520 East CR 44, Eustis. There is a $5/vehicle entry fee charged for all non-members. Donations are still appreciated to help with future programs and maintaining TLNC.
