Naturalist Program: Mosquitoes of Lake County : Events and Activities for the Trout Lake Nature Center

It's the time of year where mosquitoes are frequent visitors and inhabitants of our county. In addition to the biting species we are familiar with, there are also many species who are important pollinators and an integral part of the food chain.

Wayne Harrell and Justin Walker from the Lake County Mosquito Management District have a combined 15+ years of experience and numerous certifications in the pest control field. They will discuss the operations and challenges of dealing with Lake County's ever changing mosquito populations.

Come prepared with your questions about our biting and non-biting friends! Entry fee is $5/vehicle for non-members. TLNC members enter free.
