Naturalist Program: Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission
A panel of biologists from the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) will present on a range of topics related to Florida's wildlife and ecosystem management.
The conversation will include an overview of invasive species in Florida, with a special focus on the Swamp eel, and a discussion of local endemic species highlighting the Lake Eustis Pupfish, a species unique to our area.
There will also be an overview of both invasive and native vegetation in Florida, detailing the FWC's current monitoring practices, and an in-depth look at the various fisheries enhancement projects undertaken by the FWC.
Entry to TLNC is $5/vehicle, free for TLNC members.
