Today several wonderful volunteers came to the Trout Lake Nature Center to help is clean our wildlife mounts. Yes, they are dead animals but they need regular cleaning to help preserve and use them in our exhibits. I would like to thank, Athena, Rachel, Mary Ellen, Pauline, Lin, Kelly, Jeylen, Courtney, Shawn and Nathaniel for their help. I thought we would only be able to clean one of our buildings but with all of these willing and careful volunteers we were able to clean our wildlife mounts in both buildings. They are good to go for another 6 months.
