Once again, the Trout Lake Nature Center has been selected as one of the charities to benefit from the 2025 Amazing Race of Charity on March 29. What is the Amazing Race for Charity?
It's a charity extravaganza packed with mind-bending challenges for dynamic duos, all for a good cause! Teams of two compete on a 4 to 6 mile trek with 15 to 20 challenges, from brain teasers to building a two-person tent. Challenges are secret until the day of the event and vary each year.
- The catch? The race details are top-secret until a week before the big day.
- It's a race against time, with most teams crossing the finish line after 2 hours of sweat and smiles. The swift competitors surpass their rivals, completing the race in an impressive 1 hour 30 to 1 hour 40 minutes.
