TellemTall, a Friday Night Naturalist presentation
TellemTall tales are a blend of fact and fiction about growing up in Florida from the mid-fifties to the present. A former 7th grade science teacher and longtime environmental educator, Eric Hoeppner or TellemTall, weaves tales from his childhood, days as a teacher, and even as a 19th century camp cook.
Hoeppner’s travels have found him telling stories to anyone that will listen: at campgrounds on the Blue Ridge Parkway, Great Smokey Mountain Institute at Tremont, under the Florida oaks at the Florida Folk Festival, at The Great Florida Cattle Drive, Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge, Barberville Festival, Will McLean Festival and the Patrick Smith Days in Holopaw. Join us for some great tales and to learn what it was like to grow up in natural Florida. This program is free to attend and children are welcome. All donations are accepted and appreciated
