What's a Jungle Fest?

Due to the potential for inclement weather, this year’s Jungle Fest has moved indoors from Trout Lake Nature Center to the Eustis Community Center, 601 Northshore Drive, Eustis, FL 32726. The new venue provides a comfortable indoor setting while keeping the evening’s wildlife encounters, music, food and fun on track.

Get up close and personal with wildlife. Hold an alligator, touch a crocodile, handle a large snake, learn about snakes, take a selfie with an eagle or other raptors, pet an African serval or talk to a monkey.

Enjoy light hors d’oeuvres along with wine and mead, with non-alcoholic beverage options also available. Then take the edible insect challenge and try Mexican grasshoppers, Southwestern crickets, insect jerky, flavored mealworms or even brownies made with cricket flour. Challenge your friends to take a bite!

Then, bid on the silent auction to win unique items. This auction goes online several weeks before the event to allow everyone to participate in the auction. Winners are notified online. Unlike previous years, this Jungle Fest will feature little bites or appetizers with a unique variety of local beer, wine and mead. Come to see the progress we've made and learn about future plans for Phase 3.

Phase 3 involves the construction of a new museum area, indoor and outdoor classrooms, a community meeting room, additional offices, and renovation of the existing Education Building.

Ticket Information

Tickets can be purchased using the button below for $99/person through September 15th. After this date, cost will increase to $119/person. Please note, Paypal is our processing vendor for credit card purchases online. You can use a Paypal account if you have one but don't have to. Just use your credit card instead. If you have a problem call 352-357-7536 and we can help you with the purchase.

NOTE: To avoid transaction fees, you may mail a check to the Trout Lake Nature Center, 520 East CR 44, Eustis, FL 32736, or stop by our office to pay. Be sure to include your name, email, and mailing address with your check. Include the full name of anyone you are purchasing tickets for ease of registration at the event. Your ticketing/reservation is not final until payment is received.

Silent Auction is now live.

Unique pieces such as carvings, handmade jewelry, paintings, walking sticks, baskets, etc. are wanted for this auction. It's a chance to showcase your creative talents. Bid on unique one-of-a-kind items while helping a good cause.
