Extended Summer Hours Begin June 16
As the days heat up, TLNC will be extending open hours on Tuesdays and Thursdays beginning June 16.
Gates will open at 7 AM to give visitors a chance to enjoy the trails during the cooler morning hours. We will also remain open until 8 PM so guests can walk the trails after work, after dinner, or as the day begins to cool down.
Summer mornings and evenings are some of the best times to experience the preserve. Bird activity increases, wildlife becomes more active, and the trails are especially peaceful during these quieter hours. Whether you are coming out for exercise, photography, bird watching, or simply time in nature, we hope these extended hours give everyone more opportunities to enjoy TLNC this summer.
Future Closings at TLNC
July 4th
TLNC will be closed for the July 4th holiday. We will reopen on Sunday, July 5.
August 11–14
Each year, TLNC closes for several days in August while staff prepares for the upcoming school year and visitor season. The Nature Center will be closed August 11–14 and will reopen on Saturday, August 15.
