Educators from the Brevard Zoo's Education Department will conduct a combination workshop for early childhood. They will use the Project WET 'Getting Little Feet WET', Project WILD's 'Growing Up Wild' and Project Learning Tree's early childhood program. The week of August 12 to 16 TLNC will be closed to the public. This will allow staff time to accomplish much needed tasks that we are unable to do when open. TLNC will reopen for normal hours on Saturday, August 17.

Are you wondering about the growth and development in our area and how it affects the natural world around us? The St. Johns River Water Management District works to protect our natural resources and support Floridaʼs growth by ensuring the sustainable use of Floridaʼs water for the benefit of the people of the District and the state.

Representatives from the District will give an insight into the resource permitting process and share how the District is working to ensure our resources are protected. This presentation will provide a broad overview with time for general questions at the end.

Entry to TLNC is $5/vehicle, free for TLNC members.

Folk Music Third Saturdays Concert. $7 at the door. The potluck will begin at 7 PM with music at 7:45. Bring a covered dish for the potluck.

This program is designed for 2 to 5 year olds to have a positive experience in nature when accompanied by an adult. You MUST register to be sure enough supplies are available for all children participating. Dress your child in play clothes and plan for him/her to get dirty. We may be digging in the soil, finding bugs, learning about flowers or hiking in the woods.
