Each month TLNC invites various scientists, nature lovers, storytellers and environmentalist to speak on a wide variety of topics. Although some topics appeal more to adults, children are always welcome. TLNC does charge a $5/vehicle entry fee to all non-TLNC members. Get Inspired by Nature

Have you ever seen a bird, butterfly or flower that you wanted to capture its beauty or whimsey? Artists since the dawn of time have used nature for inspiration and you can too. Once again, watercolor artist Ellen Westerholm will teach watercolor painting classes at the Trout Lake Nature Center.

The schedule for the upcoming classes is:

Classes will resume in Spring 2025.

Westerholm supplies all needed materials—paints, brushes and art paper. The cost per class is $50. Class size is limited to allow for more personalized instruction. You will leave the class with a beautiful painting done by you. Come get inspired by nature.
