Saving our native plants is only possible when conservation lands, suitable habitats, are protected, conserved, and restored. Our speaker, Wendy Poag, will suggest opportunities for how to support our public environmental resources and health. "We are what we leave behind". Learn where to start. Wendy Poag is the Director of Lake County Water Resources. The Lake Beautyberry Native Plant Chapter is open to the public. Non-members, Friends, Family are always welcome. Free.

Art at the Lake

Nature can inspire and Art at the Lake is designed to showcase handcrafted items and original art. The Trout Lake Nature Center will be showcasing all types of creative products from paintings, to woodworking, to calligraphy, to photography, to needlework and more. We are inviting local artisans, artists and crafters to come to the Trout Lake Nature Center to show off and sell their works of art on November 9th.
