Situated in our backyard, the Florida Black Bear Scenic Byway is packed with hidden treasures and chances to "touch the forest". Surrounded by the Ocala National Forest, the byway highlights the importance of preserving nature and the value of public lands.

The corridor leads you through natural and recreational sites, traversing eastern Marion County and parts of Lake, Putnam, and Volusia counties. This month's presentation will feature a new perspective on how we can enjoy our local natural resources and benefits of the land that belongs to the public, including some fun unique facts about the Ocala National Forest.
