This is your chance to see bugs from around the world, investigate aquatic insects up close, and talk with experts to learn all about mosquitoes, the insects in the extensive TLNC collection and the honeybees in our hives. Sunday Fundays are fun for the family or any age, bring your friends for a fun afternoon of learning and exploring.

Art at the Lake

Nature can inspire and Art at the Lake is designed to showcase handcrafted items and original art. The Trout Lake Nature Center will be showcasing all types of creative products from paintings, to woodworking, to calligraphy, to photography, to needlework and more. We are inviting local artisans, artists and crafters to come to the Trout Lake Nature Center to show off and sell their works of art on November 9th.
