Join expert instructor Ellen Westerholm for this water color painting class where you will learn to paint a Bunting. This class is for all ages but more appropriate for older children. Cost is $50/person.

Mushrooms abound in the wet conditions at TLNC during our warmer months. You find them springing up in our lawns, wooded area and even flower pots. Join expert instructor Ellen Westerholm as she teaches you how to paint a mushroom. This class is for adults and costs $50/person with all materials supplied. If you have attended a previous painting class we ask you to help up be more environmental and bring any paints and brushes you might have from these classes.

Has your dog been waiting for cooler weather to join its canine friends for a walk in the woods and a little socialization? Join our Pack Walks. All dogs must be well-behaved, on a 6’ non-retractable lead, and friendly with other dogs and people. The dog’s person is responsible for picking up and disposing of any deposits left by their dog

This group of volunteers provides overall direction to this independent nonprofit. New volunteers are encouraged to attend or inquire at (352) 357-7536.

This program is designed for 2 to 5-year-olds to have a positive experience with nature and the outdoors. Children must be accompanied by an adult and should dress for playing outdoors and getting dirty.
It is held monthly on the fourth Wednesday. TLNC entry fee is $5/vehicle but TLNC members enter for free.
Adults are required to register their child by going online to the TLNC website calendar to register online. The program is limited to 20 children with their adult(s).
