Kids Craft: Glitter Pinecone Trees

Come out and decorate a glittery pinecone for the holidays. You'll have the chance to decorate a large pinecone with snow, glitter, pompoms, and more. This activity will take place outside in the screened-in picnic shelter. This activity will be led by watercolor artist and teacher Ellen Westerholm, she will provide all the required supplies. Open to children ages 2 to 8, registration is required and space is limited, sign up today!

Note: Parents must stay with their children for the entire event.

Cost: $5/child. Must register ahead of time online to reserve your spot, payment is due in cash on the day of the event.

Art at the Lake

Nature can inspire and Art at the Lake is designed to showcase handcrafted items and original art. The Trout Lake Nature Center will be showcasing all types of creative products from paintings, to woodworking, to calligraphy, to photography, to needlework and more. We are inviting local artisans, artists and crafters to come to the Trout Lake Nature Center to show off and sell their works of art on November 9th.
