Naturalist Program: Eggs in Nature
This is the time of year when many “critters” are reproducing and laying eggs. It is not just birds that lay eggs but many of our reptiles, insects, frogs, toads, marine creatures, etc. Learn about what sorts of eggs you might find in your neighborhood or at TLNC.
Learn about the many egg adaptations animals have to make sure their species survive. Then, you can take part in our Egg Hunt Scramble to find the eggs hidden on our trails to collect the letters and unscramble the hidden phrase. This is lots of fun and you might find unexpected natural treasures as you hunt for the eggs.
No reservation is required to attend but non-TLNC members are required to pay a $5/vehicle entry fee.
