Upcoming Events

TLNC staff will give short presentations on a variety of subjects to engage visitors in learning more about the natural resources in Central Florida.
The May 9 presentation will focus on the endangered Florida panther, a rare subspecies native to South Florida. There will be a discussion about its habitat, behavior, and the challenges it faces, including habitat loss and vehicle collisions. The presentation also highlighted ongoing conservation efforts to protect the species and how individuals can help preserve Florida’s unique wildlife.
